Grazer Linuxtage would be lost without its great community. Only through this community it is possible for us to organize the event every year and to achieve a common exchange about technical topics.

We have collected some suggestions on how you may support us:

Presentations, booths, workshops

You may contribute to the conference by offering presentations, booths, or workshops on topics that interest you. Submit these as part of the CfP (Call for Participation) and become a presenter.

Your submission will lead to a topic identification that will initiate discussions and determine our program.

Participate on site

At the event, there are many small tasks to complete. Therefore, we rely on the help of angels.
Examples for such tasks are:

Visitors are to be greeted and visitor bags are to be handed over.
Signposts are to be put up and, if blown away, corrected.
The infrastructure team is happy to have helping hands. It’s mostly about carrying cables or other hardware to the right place.
Photos should be taken during the event. We are also happy if somebody blogs about us after the event.
There will be a livestream in each auditorium which needs to be overseen. We also need moderators to give signals to the presenter for timing.
After the event, tear down needs to be done. Signs need to be collected, posters removed, lecture rooms cleaned up, and infrastructure dismantled.

Sponsoring

We are very happy that our financial situation is so stable that we do not have to worry too much about funding the next event. However, we still depend on sponsors to support us. Become a sponsor!.

Organization:

For an event like the Grazer Linuxtage many things have to be organized in advance. We have teams for web content, sponsorship, the program for next GLT, our digital infrastructure (sysadmins), our event infrastructure (in cooperation with TU Graz), social media, app development, graphic design and much more.
